"We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience." — George Washington
Our area of focus will be from the early 1400s, beginning with Native American tribes and explorers to the present day. We will focus primarily upon studying the formation of the United States, its leaders, politics, thought, music, art, industry and people of this great country. Class time will be comprised of lectures, group discussions, and presentations. Students will be required to know all the states and capitals in the USA, complete a collegiate book review and complete a project in the springtime. There is an honors option to the course. If interested in what that will comprise, please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org This class will be taught from a Judeo-Christian worldview.
