Required Materials: Exploring Creation with Physical Science, (2nd ed) ISBN: 9781932012774

This is an intro HS lab science class that covers basic understanding of physical & chemical properties of matter. Students will study density, weather, earth & space science, magnetism, electricity, light & sound, etc. Class time will be spent explaining concepts, answering questions, practicing solving problems, and conducting hands-on experiments. Weekly assignments will include reading the text, answering study guides, producing lab summaries, and taking tests. There will also be a mid-year project and a final exam. 1 HS lab science credit.

Prerequisite: Pre-Algebra with a good understanding of unit conversions.

Recommended Grades: 8-10

Tuition: $55/month for 9 months, August through April or pay $225 per semester. Enrollment in this course is for the entire school year.  By enrolling in this course, you are committing for a complete year of study and full payment of tuition.  Understandably, there may be exceptions.  If for some reason the student cannot continue the class, parents should contact me.

Supply Fee: One time fee of $50 due by August Parent Meeting.
