Neurodivergent Consultations with Dr. Maya Corneille What are these counsultations about Dr. Corneille? Consultation is a private, supportive conversation
designed to help individual families better understand their children and feel more confident
about next steps. During consultations, I listen carefully to parents' questions,
concerns, and hopes for their particular child, and help them make sense of what they are seeing at home, at school, or in the community. My role is to help them organize
information, notice patterns, and explore options—always through a
neurodiversity-affirming lens that honors a child’s strengths, needs, and
ways of learning. When appropriate, I can refer families to
trusted, neurodivergent-affirming professionals who offer services such as
comprehensive assessments, therapeutic supports, educational planning, or
assistive and learning-style options. These referrals are meant to help parents and children connect with professionals who can provide more specialized evaluations or
ongoing services aligned with each family’s values and each child’s unique
profile. I serve in a consultation capacity only. This means I do not provide medical, psychological, or diagnostic services. Any guidance shared during consultations is informational and educational in nature and is not intended to replace professional evaluations, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Families are encouraged to work directly with licensed providers for formal assessments and clinical decisions. My goal is to help parents feel informed, supported, and empowered as they navigate various options and advocate for their children. How do I arrange a consultation? Eligible families must have a student currently enrolled at Eastside in order to have a reduced-fee consultation. If you are interested, complete the Parent
Consultation Form, send a $20 payment to Eastside, and select a date and
time on Dr. Corneille’s Calendly. See various payment methods below.
