HOLD, DARRYL

Mr. Hold is a Degreed Teacher, Speed Reading Instructor and Fitness Professional and is capable of tutoring a broad range of subjects, including

  • Math: elementary, middle, and high school math through Precalculus
  • Biology, Chemistry
  • SAT and ACT prep (all areas), Speed Reading, and Test Skills
  • Fitness and Health
  • American, European, and World History
  • Literature, Writing, and Grammar

Darryl can also tutor via Skype, and offers a discounted Skype rate as it saves the extra expense of time and gas for travel.

MILLER, AMY

Amy Miller is a certified and experienced Georgia science teacher and tutor. She specializes in tutoring:

-AP Biology

OFOTOKUN, LEEANN

Ofotokun Tutoring

LeeAnn is a former homeschool mom who is a Barton Reading and Spelling tutor.  She has taught her son, HS grad of 2020, and several other students this system.

The Barton System is an excellent tutoring system for students struggling with spelling, reading and writing due to dyslexia or suspected dyslexia. Is is an O/G influenced structured literacy program.

Ages:  Currently accepting students ages 7 to adult to tutor this school year 2021-22. 
Rates: 2x a week minimum sessions required.  $60/week for two 50 minute sessions.

PEER TUTORS

Some Eastside teachers provide parents with names of peer tutors who can assist students in classes that those peers have already excelled in. Teachers vet these students according to their ability to relate well to others and explain course material clearly. For peer tutor contacts, please email individual instructors. Typical rate: $10 per 30 min. session.
